Oh, Frankfurt makes for a grand sight at night.
The best location for photography is obviously the Deutschherrn bridge from where you can see the specific panorama of Frankfurt.
However, for night photography from the bridge some precautions must be taken.
The bridge has vibrations plus the railway traffic is intense which creates some problems, especially if you want to do timelapse, however for night shots with long exposure of 15-20 sec it can be a problem the vibrations on the bridge, I recommend positioning on the area of the left support pillar where you also have the best visibility towards the Skyline in Frankfurt.
I then went down the right bank and continued to take long exposure photos from the tripod at several locations.
One of the spectacular locations is the Lindner Hotel, which looks excellent, especially since the adjacent Flößerbrücke bridge is also beautifully lit.
The next great photo location is the Dreikönigskirche, a 19th century Protestant church.
The locations suitable for photography are numerous but one that should not be missed is obviously the Städel Museum which also looks amazing at night. Next to it is the Holbeinsteg Bridge which is also a great silhouette for photography.
From the Holbeinsteg bridge I also photographed the InterContinental Frankfurt hotel, which also has an interesting silhouette at night.
